Dr. William Landphair earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete residency training in Anesthesiology at Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Then, he completed advanced fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Landphair then practiced as an interventional pain physician for 6 years at Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. Landphair is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He specializes in treating all types of pain, including but not limited to: Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), chronic back and neck pain, Spinal Stenosis, chronic abdominal pain, Osteoarthritis, knee and hip pain, should and arm pain, occupational/work-related injury, peripheral and diabetic neuropathy. Dr. Landphair has authored peer-reviewed publications on treatment of chronic pain with neuromodulation. He has also published chapters on regional anesthesia and chronic pain.
Dr. Landphair believes pain is best treated with a multimodal comprehensive approach and has a special interest in treating patients using leading edge research, technology, and interventions. He strives to apply this with all his patients leading to the best patient outcomes.
